Hi everyone! Welcome to a new week! If your child has not already informed you, we have welcomed a new student to our class! I am so proud of our class for showing our new friend so much kindness! If your child is snack helper this month please remember that we now have 23 students in our class.
For the next two weeks we will be doing a unit on weather. Today, we are learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Friday will be our 100th day of school celebration! In writing, the students just finished their first personal narrative and they turned out great! They were able to share their hard work with their reading buddies last Friday. We will be starting another narrative this week! In math, we are learning about surveys and collecting data. Today, the students will be completing their first "I like" survey. We are also working hard on word families! Ask your students if they can name some words in the -at word family! Thank you for reading with your child at home! Guided reading has been going great in class and we really appreciate Comments are closed.
