Today we got see a real life tractor! The kids even got to sit in the driver's seat and honk the horn! Thank you Mr. Bower! I can't believe there are only 3 and 1/2 days of school left! We have been so busy these last couple weeks, May has flown by! This week we have been learning about farms and working diligently on our own farm books! On Friday, Mrs. Hambey's dad is going to bring a real tractor up to school for us to see! Our Summer birthday celebration will be this Friday. So if, you have a summer birthday, don't forget to bring in the topping you chose for our ice cream sundaes! Tuesday will be our end of the year pizza party! Please remember to send in $2 per person attending including your child by Friday so we can get the pizzas ordered and buy the drinks. Thank you!
Hi Everyone! I think I speak for everyone when I say that Field Day was a blast! The kids played hard and were exhausted by the end of the day (in case you can't tell by the "after" pictures:) Field Day is one of my favorite days! I love seeing the kids being kids running, playing, and having fun. It makes me so proud as a teacher because I am so amazed at how responsible and independent every child has become. They have grown so much since the first day of school. This is always such a bitter sweet time of year. I know we are all in need of summer break, but it is always hard to say goodbye. We have had such a great year and Field Day just adds to wonderful memories! |
