Next week we will be doing activities to prepare us for the 100th day of school, which will be on Tuesday, January 26th, and Martin Luther King Day. In reading and writing, we will be reading Snowmen at Night and diving into the vocabulary and working on skills like visualizing and making connections. We will be tying this book into writing by writing about how to build a snowman. In math, we are going to be learning about 3-D shapes. A note is going home today asking that each day next week your child bring in a shape from home that we are learning about in class. Our spelling words next week will be that, all, had, and in.
Remember, NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 18th! Have a wonderful weekend!
